For those unfamiliar, the Reed Diffuser Base is a vital component of our eco friendly reed diffusers, responsible for carrying the fragrances that fill your home. Recently, we faced a difficult decision when we were informed that the most popular Reed Diffuser Base on the market was currently undergoing animal testing.
As a brand that strives for transparency we feel it is important to be open and honest about this. We knew we needed to take action. The decision wasn't an easy one, but in the end, our ethical business practices took precedence. We will not support any product or supplier that is actively conducting animal testing.
Therefore, we made the conscious choice to withdraw further sales of the Reed Diffuser Base that is currently undergoing animal testing. It was a bold step, but one we knew was necessary to align with our brand values and maintain the trust of our customers.
We embarked on a mission to find a suitable alternative that would not only satisfy our customers but also maintain the high standard of quality they've come to expect from Bey&Bo.
Our new diffuser base has not been tested on animals, or humans, and none of our suppliers conduct testing on the raw materials. However, it is important to convey that within industry there are some ingredients that have been tested on animals at some point in the past, often by medical researchers. These tests were mandated by a government agency or performed decades ago to establish toxicity for use in food or other products. This information is on public record, not based on recent tests and was not conducted or sanctioned by us or our suppliers.
After testing and research, we are proud to introduce our new long lasting, eco-friendly Reed Diffuser. This base offers a more eco-friendly and animal-friendly alternative, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. By opting for this new reed diffuser base, we not only contribute to a more ethical and compassionate world but also embrace a product that is in harmony with nature and the values we hold dear.
